History
Ellagro is the result of several long term subcontractors have joined under a common name. In this way we mobilizes decades of technology and production expertise to create a top manufacturing partner of systems and components.

- Ellagro Örebro in 1983
- Ellagro Poland in 2002
Our Milestones
All our units have key customers who have been with us since the beginning. Below is a selection of important milestones:
- 1973 Ellagro Västerås AB (Lundbergs Plåt) was founded in Västerås by Arne “Flajden” Lundberg, a well-known bandy player for VSK
- 1976 Ellagro Västerås builds its first production facility at Tunbytorpsgatan 20, where we are still located today
- 1986 Ellagro Örebro AB (Plåtspecialisten i Örebro) is founded by Kent Ahlmark, Lars Andersson, and Örjan Flermoen
- 1992 Ellagro Örebro leads in technological development, investing in one of Sweden’s first 15 laser cutting machines
- 1995 Ellagro Västerås prioritizes quality and achieves ISO 9001 certification
- 1996 Ellagro Örebro relocates to its current facility at Handelsgatan 1
- 2000 Begins focusing on machining
- 2007 Copper component production area doubles at Ellagro Västerås
- 2011 Ellagro Group is established and acquires Ellagro Västerås
- 2011 Welding certification achieved in Västerås according to ISO 3438-2 and EN 15085
- 2011 Environmental certification achieved in Örebro according to ISO 14001
- 2012 The assembly plant in Örebro is inaugurated
- 2013 Ellagro Group acquires Ellagro Örebro
- 2016 Invests in new machining equipment, including two Mazak machines
- 2017 Installs a new gas and fine plasma cutting machine in Västerås, featuring a rotatable cutting head
- 2018 Installs a new Amada fiber laser cutting machine in Örebro, capable of cutting copper
- 2019 Adds a new Amada press brake with automatic tool changer to Örebro
- 2020 Invests in two new machining centers for Örebro
- 2020 Builds a solar panel facility in Västerås, achieving self-sufficiency in green electricity
- 2020 Ellagro Group acquires Cepa Sp. z o.o., renamed Ellagro Poland Sp. z o.o.
- 2021 Powder coating facility becomes operational at Ellagro Poland
- 2022 Expands in Wroclaw, adding 3,000 sqm of production space
- 2023 Modernizes the copper workshop in Västerås
- 2024 Invests in expanded machining capacity, including two smaller CNC milling machines for Wroclaw and a large CNC bed milling machine for Örebro with a working area of 3500x1500x1500 mm
